Gestoos’ expertise in computer vision and machine learning along with ZF/Wabco’s deep experience and knowledge of commercial trucking systems proved a winning combination. ZF and Gestoos worked on efficiency and safety related use cases for cargo trailers.

We are at a stage in the computer vision evolution where technology can understand what is happening in real-time. This can be used not only to generate safety alerts when anomalies are detected but also to deliver live cargo data which can be used to optimize operating logistics.

Motherson and Gestoos are going to show a breakthrough on how OEMs can easily and efficiently enable vehicles to understand human movements & behavior in real-time. 

Gestoos brings its expertise in machine vision. Gestoos and Motherson worked on the safety-related use case of child presence detection using a vision system. The use case idea is validated for early-stage R&D using Gestoos’ Creator annotation and model generation platform utilizing a limited number of test sequences and without the user needing any in-depth knowledge of computer vision or AI.
