With the absence of motor and feedback sounds in the EV, a new era has begun, where sound design can help to make the usage of cars more intuitive and is needed as guidance for a better user experience. This session is associated with a pilot project that has been developed throughout our most recent STARTUP AUTOBAHN program. The comprehensive overview of this collaboration can be found below.
Endel, creator of personalized, AI-powered soundscapes to reduce stress, improve sleep and boost productivity, partnered with the Group Research of Mercedes-Benz AG to test a potential introduction of the Endel Car Experience. It will provide a unique sound-based experience that is designed to keep drivers focused and relaxed while in motion. The AI will generate an appropriate sound environment by analyzing various external inputs such as speed, driving style, weather, road type, as well as heart rate and other personal metrics synced from an individual’s Endel phone app.
Project Teasers can be accessed and downloaded on the respective program startup profiles with which our STARTUP AUTOBAHN partners teamed up with.
