Description

An overview of content and participating host/speakers.

Especially relevant for Cyber Security experts, compliance experts, and anyone interested in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance in connected cars.

This session will address the growing frustration of automotive players with their complex and practically invisible software supply chain, how it impacts product security and how the industry can overcome those via Cyber Digital Twins technology. We're currently in a PoC with Cybellum, a specialized vendor in enabling automotive players to develop and maintain securely connected components on the Cyber Digital Twins Platform.

With the ISO 21434 and WP.29, the automotive industry manufacturers must perform vulnerability management, cyber risk assessment, and continuous monitoring during the development and then throughout the lifecycle of a deployed connected component. But given the lack of visibility into the software that runs them, connected product cybersecurity becomes a great challenge.  We are currently evaluating the Cybellum Cyber Digital Twins platform that addresses this challenge by providing smart vulnerability management, compliance validation, and continuous monitoring throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Tune in to learn how the Cyber Digital Twins concept can help automotive manufacturers keep their products secure, from design to vehicles on the road.

We will discuss the following questions:

  • What are Cyber Digital Twins, and how do they help automate product security processes
- Advancing regulatory compliance (WP.29 and ISO/SAE 21434) with Digital Twins?
  • How will connected product security look in the not-so-distant future?

What learnings or insights will the participants take away from the session?
How to turn your binary firmware into a cyber digital twin to automate vulnerability assessment, monitor, increase business agility, and maintain cybersecurity throughout the product lifecycle.

Project Teaser

This session is associated with a pilot project that has been developed throughout our most recent STARTUP AUTOBAHN program. The comprehensive overview of this collaboration can be found below.

Cars become complex computer systems - how to ensure that vehicles aren’t just safe, but also secure?

When car manufacturers hand drivers the keys, they’re also making a promise - that every single component inside their ve- hicles is safe. But as cars become complex computer systems with vast collections of software components from different vendors, that promise is becoming harder than ever to keep. The Bosch team sees the Cybellum solution as one of the potential platforms, to be able to support that car manufacturers’ promise.

Project Teasers can be accessed and downloaded on the respective program startup profiles with which our STARTUP AUTOBAHN partners teamed up with.
