Description

An overview of content and participating host/speakers.

Especially relevant for VCs, Policy Makers, OEMs and Tier 1 Suppliers

Join BOSCH, TÜV Rheinland and Kontrol while they discuss the next steps to introducing autonomous systems onto our roads and how far away we are from mass-produced and sold autonomous vehicles. This topic is relevant as the introduction of autonomous systems into society will have a huge impact on services as we know them, road safety and overall future operations. Join us in our discussion for the next steps to creating AMAAS.

Learnings will include current lighthouse projects, necessary next steps to autonomy from the perspectives of certification (TÜV), a supplier (Bosch), and a solution provider for autonomous systems with rule-based mathematics (Kontrol).

We will discuss the following questions:

  • Necessary next steps to autonomy from the perspective of certification: Are these autonomous systems safe for the road and compliant?
  • How do we go into mass production of +Level 3 autonomy?

Agenda & Topics

All times CET, Berlin/Germany

  • Moderation & Introduction: Renée Wagner (VP at Kontrol)
  • Short overview of the completed project and relevance from the perspectives of each of the participants.
  • Discussion and active questions as to when autonomy can hit the streets, OEMs can go into series production, and what challenges there are, but more importantly, the business opportunities autonomy will be bringing. Benefits of investment.

Project Teaser

This session is associated with a pilot project that has been developed throughout our most recent STARTUP AUTOBAHN program. The comprehensive overview of this collaboration can be found below.

Verifying autonomous driving functions in regards to traffic laws and regulations to improve safety and compliance in mobility

The development dynamics in the broader field of autonomous and connected driving remain high. To be able to exploit the potential of these technologies and to enable society and economy to participate, it is necessary to reach a new level of trust and functionality. A crucial factor is to ensure traffic law and avoid legal issues in order to increase the safety of autonomous systems and enable true autonomy.

Project Teasers can be accessed and downloaded on the respective program startup profiles with which our STARTUP AUTOBAHN partners teamed up with.
