Description

An overview of content and participating host/speakers.

It is no longer a secret to anyone that India is an emerging economic power and an increasingly important location for innovation. More and more multinational companies are increasingly locating their advanced research and development (R&D) operations in India to draw on the nation’s highly trained scientists, engineers, and managers. In the process and despite the many challenges India is changing from a locus of low-cost contract research and reverse engineering to a global center of high-value, indigenously generated innovation. In this session we would like to discuss with our panelist about the current state of Innovation in India.

Participants:

  • Srinivas Kollipara, Ecosystem Builder, Startup Investor & Advisor, Corporate Innovation Expert, T-Hub - Co-Founder
  • Sophia Nadur, Managing Partner - New Markets, bp Ventures
  • Kunjan Chikhlikar, Head of RPG Ventures, RPG Group
  • Rama Iyer, Head of Innovation, GMR Group

We are looking forward to discussing some of the following questions:

  • What is the current State of the Indian Startup Ecosystem
  • What is the most exciting aspect of the Indian startup ecosystem?
  • What is the Government’s role in pushing innovation and startup ecosystems?
  • What role does the Open Innovation approach play for Indian companies?
  • And much more...
